Our Vision

Charity Right believes that no one deserves to die from starvation. Everyone has the right to eat, to live a healthy life and contribute towards society. Our vision strives towards a world where we can help eradicate the epidemic of food poverty, get communities back on their feet and into education, work and trade. By providing food, the once hungry will become self-sufficient and will have the energy, drive and motivation to help themselves and their families to live a sustainable life.

Our Mission

To fight hunger, one family at a time.

Our mission is to reach those who suffer from hunger, to provide them with nourishing meals and to give them a better chance at life. Charity Right Pakistan is providing meals to schools, orphanages and underprivileged families. We will travel far, to the harshest of areas and we will work tirelessly to put a stop to the epidemic of hunger in Pakistan even if it is one meal at a time, even if it saves one life at a time.

"The biggest solvable
problem in the world"

Charity Right Pakistan was launched in Ramadan of 2014. Since then we have been consistently providing ration to more than 300 families per month in Karachi & the district of Tharparkar.

Children who are poorly nourished suffer up to 160 days of illness each year

Poor nutrition plays a role in at least half of the 10.9 million child deaths each year.

Malnutrition magnifies the effect of every disease, including measles and malaria.

Our Approach

Our Approach

We focus solely on providing meals to widows, orphans, the aged and children in areas where there is a chronic hunger issue. This is often in some of the world’s hardest-to-reach areas like the district of Tharparkar in Sindh.

Our work focuses on providing food to schools and families from Karachi and the district of Tharparkar covering villages in the remotest of areas up till the Rann of Kutch.

People from these areas don’t often have the opportunity to escape poverty, but by ensuring regular food supply to deserving people and providing regular meals at school, we try to give them a chance at a prosperous future.

We work with our local partners to identify areas that are susceptible to severe poverty & food deprivation.

1) Rs  3,000 – Supports a family for a month

2) Rs  18,000 – Supports a family for 6 months

3) Rs  36,000 – Supports a family for an entire year

We go through a vital 4-step process when deciding where we will work. This helps us to identify the exact needs of those suffering from hunger.

Step 1

Review preliminary reports and existing proposals for areas which have been prioritised as having the greatest need.

Step 2

Establish a local team

Step 3

Complete an assessment of the area which involves an on-site inspection and undertaking a risk assessment (such as checking for political problems which may impact our relief efforts).

Step 4

Evaluate the number of people who need help and create a delivery plan for how food will be distributed in the fastest and most effective way. Once we feel confident that we can successfully implement a project, we commit to it and begin our work.
